"Docking"

Postby JimMurray » Thu May 13, 2010 7:44 am

When the windows are unlocked (View/Unlock Windows) and you drag a window, the "Ready" in the lower left corner of the iVisit Presenter main window (browser?) changes to "Press the Ctrl key to prevent docking." and the blue "arrow symbols" disappear. What is the purpose of this and what is "Docking"?

Thanks,

Jim Murray

Docking is "glueing" (snap together) a simple way to keep all the windows fixed together (arranged) and is the default arrangement.

I understand what you are saying. I'll need to try it afew times to be comfortable with it. I didn't notice any "snapping" unless you're referring to the snapping together of windows and creating tabs. Or is that another feature?

Thanks for the reply,

The snapping is part of the 'glued' together effect :-)
