Click here if you have lost your Authorization code
"Forgot password and username" this is for both PC and Mac clients.
- At the Logon screen (Do not logon!)
- Click "Account"
- Click "Forgot password or username"
- Follow the on-screen instructions:
- "Enter your registered e-mail, authorization code, and whatever password you wish. If you do not have an authorization code press Help or visit iVisit.com.
- Enter the following:
- Registered e-mail: (The one you Registered with)
- Authorization code: (The one Emailed to you) Click here if you have lost your Authorization code
- Username: (This will appear Grey/Covered with the words "Will be returned")
- Domain: ivisit.net
- Password: (Enter a NEW Password)
- Re-enter password: (same as above)
- If all is OK the screen below will say "Ready"
- Click "Recover"
- If successful, you will see:
- "Your password has been reset. Your complete address is Your_Username.####@ivisit.net"
- Click OK
- If Failure, you will see:
- "Recovery failed: no account found for your_Email_address@your_ISP.com"
- This means you have not yet created your account.
- Logon with your Username and new Password
"Change password" this is for both PC and Mac clients.
- At the Logon screen
- Click "Logon"
- Click "Account"
- Click "Change password"
- The "Change Password" window appears
- Type in your current password "Old password"
- Type in your new password "New password"
- Re type in your new password "Re-enter new password"
- If all is OK, the word "Ready" will appear in the window below
- Click OK
- ivisit.net will be contacted to confirm the new password change.
- If successful, should now display "Your password has been changed"
- Click "Okay"
- Click "Okay" again and you are now logged on with your new password
Also on the PC, you can click Settings > Change Password
