Step one: Preparing your system:
- Click Start > Control panel > Sounds and Audio devices
- Click the "Audio" tab
- Under Sound Recording, set this to your sound card, NOT USB Mic.
- Click the "Voice" tab and check the same as above
- Click the "Volume" tab
- Click "Advanced" (opening the Volume Control window)
- Click Options > Properties
- Click Recording
- Place a check mark in ALL boxes and click OK
- You will now see the "Recording Control" window
- Place a check mark in "Select" under "Stereo Mix"
- (You may or may not have this option depending on if your sound hardware supports it)
Step two: Preparing iVisit
- Go to iVisit and click Settings > Preferences > Audio
- Check that the input > Recording is your sound card
- Under your Local AV window, click the right arrow next to "Audio" and select Hands Free mode
Now anything you play in say iTunes or Windows Media player "should" broadcast through iVisit straight through your system.
Essentially you're telling your system to play what it hears internally.
NOTE: Some hardware supports this, some doesn't.
