To join video conference Chat rooms:

1. Click Places in your Address Book (Tools > Address Book to open)
2. Click on ivisit.net server to see all of the Neighborhoods inside
3. Click on the Neighborhood you want to enter (Friends is a good starting place)
4. Click a User home (Inside you will see a Chat room and Connections list)
5. Click on the Chat room
6. Click the blue bar "Join this room"
   • Alternatively, you may also join up to 5 Connection lists as well where you can chat without being seen until you decide who you want to connect with.
   • If someone has given you a shortcut to their home, simply type it next to the Blue Plus and press Enter (PC) / Return (Mac) then click it.

Navigating around the community is easy:

• The navigation bar, under the Places button, displays your current location
• Click the blue back arrow on the top left to go up one Neighborhood
• Double-click the blue back arrow takes you to the top (root) level of Places
• Hold down the Option button and click on an item with your mouse to see its options at any time

Shortcuts, save shortcuts to places you frequently visit:

• Right-Click (PC) / Option-Click (Mac) on a Home, Chat room or neighborhood
• Click "Save Shortcut"
• You can also type a shortcut directly into the address book, using the + text entry area at the bottom. For example, you could type in "ivisit.net/Friends/Tim's Place".

Organize your shortcuts or people into subfolders

• At the root of Places, type any name beginning with a "/" e.g. /My favorite places
• Press Enter (PC) / Return (Mac)
• You can then drag and drop other items into that folder.
• To drag an item out of a folder, drag it out of the main display area, onto the back arrow path at the top.

You can trash any item by dragging it to the Trash icon and then File > Empty Trash.
