Converting iVisit .IVB recordings into QuickTime movies
This feature is only available to
iVisit Plus Subscribers

Double-click the Recording.IVB (or whatever you named the saved file) to load it into iVisit

On your Local AV window go to the Recording options menu, black arrow across right >

Select "Save as QuickTime movie ..."

The file will play through, be converted into a QuickTime movie and saved in the same location as the source file, but with the Extension .mov

Each AV window and each audio stream is recorded onto an individual QuickTime track. These can easily be edited in QuickTime Pro, iMovie etc.

The compression format of both video and audio can be set before conversion; the defaults are H263 video and IMA audio (which creates a file not much bigger than the original iVisit recording). You can choose any format you require but note some will create much bigger files.

Live record settings:

This controls the speed of recording, the maximum file that can be created and if you want playback to reveal your ivisit .code. Increasing the recording rate should not be required but the default maximum file size of 50MB may not be enough if you record large groups of people sharing files and Desktops.
