Camera and Video: When you purchased your video camera or capture card, it will have come with drivers and other software on a floppy or CD which must be installed before iVisit can use the camera correctly. (We also recommend that you get any updates that may be available from the manufacturer's web-site)
To adjust your video settings do the following:

  • PC: Click Settings > Preferences > Video
  • Mac: Click Settings > Video Device Settings

Be sure your camera is selected from the proper menu

If this is set properly, you will see your image in your LocalAV Window. If you see "Video Disabled" (PC) or "Paste PICT here" (Mac), this means iVisit cannot find your video source. This can be a few things:

  • 1) The driver is not installed correctly
  • 2) Other software is holding your camera from being used with iVisit. Common ones are: NetMeeting, MSN, Yahoo!, or iChat.. These MUST be disabled.
  • 3) Check your pixel resolution and set it to 160 X 120
