Guest invitations (manual creation)

Create an ivb (iVisit Bookmark) file:

Windows XP
Using NotePad or another Text Editor type the following;

s=1
domain=ivisit.net
user=guest_nickname@your_username
pass=guest_password
logon=y
background=n
join=home.your_name.code/Chat room (Plus only)

Save file e.g. invitation.ivb
Save as type "All files"
Encoding ANSI
The saved file should show the iVisit 'blue Orb' icon

Mac OSX
Using TextEdit type the following;

s=1
domain=ivisit.net
user=guest_nickname@your_username
pass=guest_password
logon=y
background=n
join=home.your_name.code/Chat room (Plus only)

Format (top menu bar): Make Plain Text
'Save as' e.g. invitation.ivb
TextEdit will try and add the extension .txt as well - say No
The saved file should show the iVisit 'blue Orb' icon

Using the .ivb file

You can email this ivb file to your friends and family, all they need to do then is;
a) install iVisit and
b) double-click your 'invitation.ivb' and they will be connected to you (Lite) or brought into your room (Plus).
