Why do we need a valid email ?

If you forget your Username, Password or Authorization code, you can recover these with account recovery information mailed to your registered email address.

If you no longer have access to your registered email address (e.g., have also forgotten its password) then you will not be able to access iVisit using that account ever again. All Address Book entries for people and places will be lost together with any messages they may send you.

You can change the registered email address for an account after it has been created, as long as you know your current Username and Password for it.
