How do I Register
After you have installed iVisit, start iVisit and click "Account" > "Register". Be sure to register so you can create a Username then logon and videoconference with others. In order to register, you must use a valid Email address. After doing this, your Activation code will be Emailed to you.

I didn't receive an Activation Code
Did you register using a valid email address?
Did you enter the correct email address?
Is your email provider blocking email from our domain?
Does your email application block or strip emails?

How do I create my Username
Be sure to run the latest iVisit client for PC or Mac then enter the following information EXACTLY as you did when registering:
Registration email: (MUST be the email you registered with)
Authorization code: (CaSe SensITivE)
Domain: ivisit.net
Username: (Must be a UNIQUE username.
Password: (more than 6 characters)
Confirm password: (same as above must match)
Creation Failed message
Check your Activation code for the correct characters, especially the I i L l 1 T t ! characters, some computers have font shapes that are difficult to differentiate between characters.
Login Failed
Your username and password MUST be exactly as first set. Passwords are CaSe SenSItIVE

Server not reachable / Can't contact cim.ivisit.net
If you are using a Router or Firewall, have the following ports allowed:
OUTGOING:
  • Local UDP port 9940 (sometimes called local source port)
  • Remote UDP port (ALL) (sometimes called remote destination port)
INCOMING:
  • Local UDP port 9940 (sometimes called local destination port)
  • Remote UDP port (ALL) (sometimes called remote source port)
You could also try a "loose UDP" configuration making the local UDP ports (outgoing and incoming) for a wider range 9940 through 9950 but it should not be necessary.
Mac User getting Creation Failed message
After you type in the four pieces of information (Registered e-mail, Authorization code, Username, and Password twice), if the "Create" button is still not "lit" then simply click on the space where you typed in the Authorization code again. This should now light up the Create button.
How do I change my Username
You can only have one Username per registration. If you would like a different Username, register again using a different email address.
