iVisit Teleport enables you to send auido/video or photo messages with a simple push of a button. You don’t need to type text messages or leave voice mails that are hard to access for user anymore. iVisit Teleport messaging modes work reliably over 2G, 2.5G and are not only restricted to 3G networks.

iVisit Teleport incorporates a cross carrier and cross devices push-to-talk capability. You are no longer restricted to use the same mobile carrier and compatible devices. Any windows mobile PDA phone, PC or Mac is not within reach of Teleport’s Push-to-talk features.

The authentication scheme is based on Kerberos-like tickets, using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption. This is unlike email, which makes it very easy for a sender to masquerade as another user.

In Multi-Party conferences iVisit automatically detects and activates the speaker video over other participants. On PDA phones where screen real-estate is limited this can help you see speaker in full screen mode.

If video resolutions are not enough for you to get an accurate enough picture then send high resolution photos while you are in a conference.

Most older window mobile PDA can still use iVisit Teleport but those without cameras can only receive video. Note (video and photo transmission resolution varies from device to device)
Bluetooth headsets are not currently supported.

For high resolution multiparty communications a 1GHZ Pentium with 512 Gig of ram is recommended. But iVisit Teleport can run on very low end desktops and its performance scales down gracefully. Pentium 90 MHz, 16 MB RAM, can even be used to point to the fact that iVisit is highly optimized to require very little processing allowing users to run other processing intensive applications while communicating from the same computer or PDA using iVisit.

Cameras
Aside from the mobile devices mentioned with integrated cameras iVisit works with most desktop web cameras, microphones and headsets. However cameras do affect the performance of video transfer and we recommend Logitech cameras for desktop users.
